Collared Aracari - a type of toucan, but has a much larger and more point tail
Pteroglossus torquatus
Found from Mexico down to Colombia and Venezuela
Males and females appear similar, females have a slightly smaller beak
Highly social - forage and travel in groups of 5 to 15
Roost communally with up to 7 occupying the same cavity at night
Diet is mainly fruit, but will eat large insects, nestlings of other birds and other small vertebrates
Parents plus 3 other adults often feed nestlings
Note serrated pattern on bill
Their beaks about 1/4 of the size of their entire body
